WAKEFIELD — Advisory Board of Public Works approves conditional sewer abatement and requests revised rate proposal. The Board voted 3-0 to abate sewer charges for Ricardo Gonzalez pending verification of calculation, and approved two sets of prior meeting minutes. Director Joseph Conway reported water consumption tracking below historical levels while sewer operations remain sound.

Consultant Matt Abrahams presented multiple FY27 rate scenarios, but Chair Christopher Tarr directed him to develop an option spreading a 6 percent level increase across five years for the next meeting rather than concentrating increases in FY27 and FY28.
