WAKEFIELD — Capital Planning Committee advances FY27 budget prep with departmental reviews. The committee heard capital presentations from the Wakefield Fire Department and Department of Public Works on February 24, with Fire Department Captain Randy Hudson presenting two signals-related requests and Joe Conway of the Department of Public Works presenting vehicle and facility needs. All seven committee members were present for the working meeting.
The committee scheduled follow-up sessions for March 2, 3, and 9 to complete departmental reviews, with Information Technology set to present at the March 2 meeting.
