Wakefield Capital Planning Committee reviews FY2027 capital requests from departments. Police sought two vehicles and new firearms; Fire requested three vehicles, fans, flashlights, two inflatable boats, and radios. The committee also reviewed proposals from schools and library departments and discussed approvals, removals, and deferrals from its master capital list.

Presentations from the Information Technology Department and Department of Public Works are planned for late February.
