Commission on Disabilities updates accessibility project timelines

Commission on Disabilities · Meeting of April 6, 2026

Wakefield Commission on Disabilities advances multiple accessibility initiatives. Town Engineer and ADA Coordinator Bill Renault reported a $75,000 Senior Center entrance renovation moving forward through Engineering Budget and Council on Aging funds, while the town works toward an April 2027 deadline for website accessibility compliance including close captioning and contrast-adjustment tools. Paul Paglierani announced he will not renew his commission participation.
