Conservation Commission adopts open meeting law compliance policy
Conservation Commission · Meeting of May 19, 2026
Wakefield Conservation Commission adopts open meeting law site visit policy. Chair Paul F. Wendelgass implemented new procedures limiting site visits to two commissioners at a time, following guidance from Town Counsel Tom Mullen and Town Administrator Dee Casey, to ensure compliance with the Massachusetts Open Meeting Law.
The Commission continued the public hearing on a proposed five-story self-storage facility at 50 Quannapowitt Parkway to June 2. Conservation Agent Ethan Fleming presented a stormwater maintenance plan for 200-400 Quannapowitt Parkway that matches previously approved conditions, requiring quarterly and annual inspections of various stormwater systems with annual reports to the Commission.
