WAKEFIELD — Conservation Commission approves conditions for two wetland projects. Acting Chair Eleanor Axelrod presided as the Commission voted unanimously to issue a negative determination of applicability with conditions for an 800 square foot accessory dwelling unit at 123 Vernon Street and an Order of Conditions for a garage removal, 20 foot by 40 foot addition, and deck at 131 Montrose Avenue. The Commission continued a public hearing for Pack Self Storage of Wakefield LLC's proposed 22,900 square foot five-story self-storage facility at 50 Quannapowitt Parkway to September 2, 2026 at the applicant's request.

James Cerone abstained from all three votes on his first meeting as a voting member. The Commission is refining wetland bylaw amendments and will present the revised language to multiple town boards and committees throughout August and September.
