Wakefield Conservation Commission approves open space plan, appoints trail steward. The five-member Commission unanimously approved a letter of review for the Open Space and Recreation Plan, positioning the town for conservation and recreation grants, and unanimously appointed a new steward for the J.J. Round Trail.
The Commission also continued its public hearing on a revised self-storage facility proposed for 50 Quannapowitt Parkway, with Pack Self Storage scaling the project to 99,000 square feet across four stories, down from an original 125,000-square-foot proposal. The hearing resumes June 2, 2026.
