Conservation Commission · Meeting of February 28, 2026

Wakefield Conservation Commission reviews and agrees to draft wetlands bylaw amendments. Chair Paul F. Wendelgass, Vice Chair Eleanor Axelrod, and Member Jennifer Fanning met with Conservation Agent Ethan Fleming to review edits from Town Engineer Bill Renault and Town Counsel Tom Mullen.

The Commission agreed to incorporate revisions to jurisdiction, definitions, and exemptions designed to expand its authority over vernal pools and vernal pool habitat not previously regulated.
