Wakefield Housing Trust unanimously approves letter to Edgewater Place developers. Chair Gail Severt was authorized to sign the letter on behalf of the board. The Trust also approved the renewal of its fiscal year 2027 contract with Metro North Regional Housing Services Office and confirmed that monitoring of rental units will be handled by the regional office while homeownership unit monitoring moves in-house.

The Trust reaffirmed that a fee-in-lieu bylaw would apply only to fractional units in rental developments; Senior Planner Marissa Meaney will provide calculation examples and timeline documentation for the next meeting on July 21.
