Wakefield library trustees approve annual director evaluations. The Board of Library Trustees unanimously approved a new annual evaluation form for Library Director Catherine McDonald, moving from a three-year cycle. The board also welcomed record state aid of $83,000 as part of the governor's FY27 cherry sheet, reflecting strong legislative advocacy for libraries statewide.

Gift funds totaling $53,500 were received, including $50,000 from the Hilda and Madeleine Oliver estate and $3,500 donated in honor of retired youth room librarian Heidi Zeibig. Director McDonald requested $50,000 for security camera and software replacement in FY27.
