Lipper-Garabedian Wins Democratic Primary For 5th Middlesex Senate Seat
WAKEFIELD — Wakefield's unofficial results from Tuesday's state primary are posted on the town website, and Wakefield Patch reports that state Rep. Kate Lipper-Garabedian captured the Democratic nomination for the 5th Middlesex state Senate District. Closer to home, crews close in on finishing the Veterans Field restroom project this week with overnight roadwork and a parking lot closure.

Separately, the Department of Public Works has scheduled North Avenue roadwork for Tuesday night, and the Veterans Field parking lot will close Wednesday as the Veterans Field restroom project enters its final stage of construction, according to the town's News Flash.
