WAKEFIELD — Permanent Building Committee working group reviews project, approves prior minutes unanimously. Chair Joseph B. Bertrand and committee members reviewed construction progress, FF&E bidding showing $4,115,213.72 in total costs against a budgeted $5,400,164.80, and two zero-dollar change orders (SOV-020 and SOV-021) containing scope clarifications and contractor accelerations for Permanent Building Committee approval at the February 12 meeting.
Superintendent Dr. Doug Lyons' request for auditorium speaker system upgrade from 4-channel to 24-channel capacity at approximately $150,000 additional cost was noted for further review. School opens January 4, 2027.
