Wakefield Building Committee FF&E Subcommittee unanimously approves $1.88 million technology budget for Memorial High School. The recommendation, made by Erin Demerjian and seconded by Christina Gabriel, includes $1.8 million in base equipment—projectors, laptops, specialized lab systems, and network infrastructure—plus an $83,466 contingency (5 percent) to cover annual service contracts and cloud licensing. SMMA confirmed all equipment will be procured through state bid lists and the Town will provide installation labor.

Draft bid documents are scheduled for April release, with formal bidding targeted for May 2026.
