WAKEFIELD — Permanent Building Committee reviews Memorial High School auditorium system redesign. At its April 2 hybrid working group meeting, Chair Joseph B. Bertrand and members Chip Tarbell and Phil Renzi approved several design and construction items, including authorization for the project team to seek approval of a $150,000 auditorium speaker system upgrade from 4-channel to 24-channel configuration at the April 16 formal Permanent Building Committee meeting.

The group also approved updated designs for the Athletic Hall of Fame wall and the campus "W" display using the approved Wakefield font. The working group requested a twenty-year warranty on science lab casework glazing doors and directed Leftfield to obtain three vendor quotes for new athletic banners.
