WAKEFIELD — Permanent Building Committee Working Group unanimously approved prior minutes and reviewed renovation progress on Wakefield Memorial High School. Joseph B. Bertrand, Chair, presided as SMMA presented an updated Athletic Hall of Fame wall design for the gymnasium hallway, with Bertrand requesting the scope expand beyond athletics to recognize broader local contributions; the Facilities Director will confirm auditorium speaker specifications after the School Department requested an upgrade from four to 24 channels at an estimated cost of $150,000.

The project stands 37.4 percent complete overall with approximately $9.4 million in remaining budgets across contingency, allowances, and hold accounts.
