Planning Board approves fence modification at 197-199 Nahant Street

Planning Board · Meeting of January 27, 2026

WAKEFIELD — Planning Board approves fence modification at 197-199 Nahant Street with 18-inch setback requirement. Chair Kevin York, members James Hogan, Bill Spaulding, and Kristin Maria Weekley voted unanimously to amend the recorded subdivision conditions, allowing perimeter fencing on the property in response to a safety concern raised by owner James Gattuso's attorney, Brian McGrail. The original conditions had prohibited fencing entirely.

The board also unanimously authorized Chair York to execute the amendment. A public hearing on ANR Rules and Regulations is scheduled for the February 10 meeting.
