Planning Board backs stormwater bylaw and zoning changes, endorses Water Street lot merger.

WAKEFIELD — Planning Board unanimously backs stormwater bylaw and zoning changes. Chair Kevin York and members endorsed the NPDES MS4 Stormwater Management Program requiring low-impact development site planning and establishing a drainage revolving fund; the measures move to Town Council. Town Engineer Bill Renault fielded public comment from Sheffield Road resident Eleanor Axelrod on ANR lot definitions and DEP standards compliance.

The board also unanimously endorsed an ANR lot merger at 137 Water Street. Board and Vice Chair elections are scheduled for May 12.
