Planning Board reduces Lovis Ave subdivision passbook, extends completion deadline

Planning Board · Meeting of May 26, 2026

WAKEFIELD — Planning Board reduces Lovis subdivision escrow, extends deadline to year-end. Chair Kevin York, Vice Chair Theodore H. Noell, and members James Hogan, Bill Spaulding, and Kristin Maria Weekley voted unanimously to cut the passbook from $140,000 to $70,000 and push the completion date to December 31, 2026, with final paving and tree planting due by June 12.

The board delegated certificate-of-occupancy authority to the Town Engineer upon satisfaction of the former Caruso agreement. Planning Board members also advanced a Community One Stop Grant application for a broader rezoning initiative, targeting public hearings and a Town Meeting vote in spring 2028.
