WAKEFIELD — Planning Board advances subdivision rules and housing production plan. Chair Kevin York and the four-member board unanimously scheduled a public hearing for February 10, 2026 on proposed Subdivision and ANR Rules and Regulation changes. Town Planner Marissa Meaney outlined feedback on the Housing Production Plan, emphasizing early public involvement, various housing types, and a corridor-based development approach focused on specific growth areas.
Board members James Hogan and Meaney recently consulted with an outside firm on the rezoning strategy and reported coordination with the Town Council, Town Administrator, and Zoning Board of Appeals on phase-one funding.
