Wakefield Retirement Board approves December cash reconciliation and retirement applications. The board voted unanimously to set the annual COLA hearing for April 22, 2026, and approved Police Officer Richard DiNanno for voluntary superannuation retirement effective April 1, 2026, after 42 years and 9 months of service. Two Fire Department members, Timothy Coggswell and Brian Dougherty, were enrolled as new Group 4 pension members on February 10, 2026.

The board also approved total warrants of $2,209,573.40, including $1,178,072.09 in January contribution payroll.
