Wakefield Retirement Board approves six new municipal employees and two superannuation retirements. The board unanimously enrolled Jackson McDermott (DPW), Shahida Ahmed and Rachael Graham (School), David Oliva and Alec Passacantilli (Fire), and Jillian Terry (Police). Michael Sullivan (Fire, 41 years 2 months service) and Kevin Gill (Accounting, 32 years 9 months service) were cleared for voluntary superannuation effective November 2025 and April 2026 respectively.
The board also approved November 2025 cash books and warrants totaling 1.1 million dollars in contributed payroll.
