Wakefield Building Committee approves $4.3M furniture and equipment package for high school. The Permanent Building Committee FF&E Technology Subcommittee voted unanimously on February 4 to recommend the full package to the main committee, totaling $4,320,974.41 and cutting the October 2025 budget by $1,079,191.29. Erin Demerjian and Christina Gabriel led the motion.
Equipment pricing came in significantly lower than estimated, with $339,480.45 in drop-ship items to be delivered after the building is occupied to minimize warranty and handling concerns. Full committee approval is scheduled for February 12.
