Wakefield Council on Aging approves March financial reports amid board recruitment challenges. The council unanimously approved March 11 meeting minutes and the March financial report, with the budget remaining on track despite anticipated spring van repairs and a new center vehicle arriving in early June. Director Karen Burke reported strong program participation, and the council is actively recruiting to fill two vacant board positions with no applicants currently identified.
The Affordable Housing Trust announced that WRAP program funds have been fully expended and the program is on hold pending discussion of future funding sources.
