Wakefield Memorial High School project approves $5.3 million in May invoices and zero-dollar change order. The Permanent Building Committee unanimously voted to pay Leftfield LLC $145,000, SMMA $104,410.70, UTS $1,796.50, and Bond Building Company $5,072,339.28 for ongoing construction administration and services. Chair Joseph B.
Bertrand reported the project is 68 percent complete with 92 percent of the $223.9 million budget committed and 63 percent expended. Internal Change Order #24, moving $542,098 in contingency and holds, covers 28 site and design adjustments including automatic door openers, A/V revisions, and site logistics work. The committee approved Bond's Phase 2 logistics plan after review by Wakefield Fire and Police.
