Wakefield Memorial High School Working Group holds 60th project meeting ahead of January 2027 opening. Permanent Building Committee Chair Joseph B. Bertrand oversaw approval of prior meeting minutes and review of the four-week construction schedule spanning masonry, roofing, mechanical, and finish work.

Internal Change Order 23 proceeds to the full committee; Change Order 24 awaits finalization. The group resolved to delay the ribbon cutting until late 2027 after Phase 2 completion. A cost dispute between Comcast and the town over WCAT cable installation has been forwarded to Town Counsel Thomas Mullen for determination of responsibility.
