Wakefield Zoning Board of Appeals unanimously approves sign modifications and lighting upgrades at 52 Main Street. Chair Thomas J. Lucey convened the five-member voting panel, which voted to approve The Gingerbread Construction Co's proposal to refresh and upgrade its existing sign with LED lighting replacements, new graphics, and new accent lighting along the peaked roofline.

The board also continued the hearing for Pack Self-Storage of Wakefield LLC at 50 Quannapowitt Parkway to May 27, 2026 upon the applicant's attorney's request, and accepted the withdrawal without prejudice of Ali Choucri's application to convert a two-family dwelling at 9 Byron Street into a three-family unit.
