Zoning Board continues storage and EV charging applications; approves Phase III TCO for Quannapowitt.

Wakefield Zoning Board continued two special permit applications and approved Phase III occupancy for Quannapowitt. The Pack Self-Storage application at 50 Quannapowitt Parkway was continued until January 28 to allow plan revisions based on wetland determinations. The Ionna LLC electric vehicle charging station at 525 Salem Street was also continued to January 28; the Board heard updates on drainage, traffic, and lighting and requested an occupancy-based dimming system be explored.
The Board unanimously recommended a Temporary Certificate of Occupancy for Phase III at 200-400 Quannapowitt, encompassing 130 residential units and 25 affordable units, with Phase IV expected in late March or early April.
