WAKEFIELD — Zoning Board approves signage at commercial property, defers three applications. The board unanimously approved a special permit for illuminated signage at Best Realty LLC, 139 Albion Street, permitting two 40-by-96-inch signs on the railroad-facing side and two 17-by-120-inch signs on the Tuttle Street side, with all town departments approving without objection. The board also continued Pack Self-Storage at 50 Quannapowitt Parkway to September 9, 2026, to complete stormwater review with DPW Engineering, and pushed a two-property residential conversion application from Attorney Michael McCarthy and Frank Pasciuto to September 23, 2026, pending submission of exterior materials and traffic analysis.
A separate application by JGCB LLC to raze and reconstruct a home at 1 Sidney Street was continued to September 9 to allow the applicant and neighbors to negotiate possible design compromises after two residents expressed concerns about size, parking, and neighborhood character.
