WAKEFIELD — Zoning Board continues Pack Self-Storage hearing after major design revisions. Attorney Brian McGrail, representing Pack Self-Storage of Wakefield LLC, presented a redesigned 99,000-square-foot facility at 50 Quannapowitt Parkway with a four-foot height reduction and expanded eight-foot wetland buffer per Conservation Commission requirements, down from the original three-foot buffer; parking reduced from 12 to 10 required spaces. The board unanimously continued the matter to March 11, 2026, for final stormwater and lighting plan review.
In a separate pre-application meeting, Lincoln Property Company outlined plans to convert two office buildings at 101 and 201 Edgewater Drive into approximately 401 residential units across three five-story buildings, with the potential to generate 72 affordable units; formal application expected summer or fall 2026.
