WAKEFIELD — Permanent Building Committee approves $1.88 million technology budget for Wakefield Memorial High School. Committee members unanimously approved the technology and audiovisual infrastructure budget as recommended by the FF&E Technology Subcommittee with a five percent contingency. The committee also approved invoices totaling $6.4 million for project management, design, and construction work in February.

As of the end of February 2026, the project had expended $163.3 million of the $223.9 million construction budget, with construction 64 percent complete.
