WAKEFIELD — Advisory Board of Public Works reviews capital warrant articles totaling $6.7 million. The Advisory Board of Public Works discussed twelve capital improvement warrant articles during its March 12 meeting, with Town Engineer Bill Renault presenting infrastructure priorities for Town Meeting consideration. Key articles include $2.5 million for refuse, recycling, and yard waste services; $1.56 million for sewer inflow and infiltration improvements with 75 percent grant funding; and $1 million for water service line replacement.
The board also addressed an upcoming refuse and recycling RFP with the current contract's final year beginning July 1, 2027.
