Commission reviews invasive removal work at Quannapowitt Parkway

WAKEFIELD — Conservation Commission conducts site visit to review invasive species removal at 200-400 Quannapowitt Parkway. Goddard & Associates representatives Mark Arnold and Adam Zwick, along with attorney Brian McGrail, presented details including perimeter landscaping, woody debris removal by contractor Wilkinson, and stormwater basin improvements with native plantings. The three-year management plan targets 75 percent native vegetation coverage by December 2026.
As-built plans are two-thirds complete pending town engineer sign-off for stormwater management.
