Free concert at Civic Center set for Oct. 24

Beebe Library and Friends of Beebe Library announced a free concert set for Saturday, Oct. 24, at the Americal Civic Center in Wakefield.

The event, scheduled from 3 to 4 p.m., will feature brothers AJ and Colescott Rubin, who the library describes as third-generation Boston artists performing family-friendly entertainment with a vaudeville and circus flair. According to the announcement, the Rubin Brothers play "snappy originals while unicycling, juggling, doing acrobatics, and other stage antics."

The library said the performance offers a seasonal circus act paired with jazzy music, and noted it may appeal to patrons who enjoyed the Beebe's summer Plaza Jazz series.

The Americal Civic Center is located at 467 Main Street in Wakefield. The library said an RSVP is appreciated so organizers can plan for seating.
